Oil Spill is Stopped!
It's a temporary fix, but for the moment the temporary cap is working.
Where does the oil go?
We don't know where all the oil goes. Some floats on top of the water and some mixes with the water and forms long plumes of an oil and water emulsion under the surface. See our Gulf Oil Spill page for more information and updates.
